Throughout 2020, we marked a major milestone in our nation’s history—the 30th anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Since its passage in 1990, this landmark legislation has helped increase access and opportunity for people with disabilities in our nation’s workplaces and communities.

The CDE was delighted to be a part of the yearlong ADA30 observance. This included many of the commemorative ADA events led by the U.S. Department of Labor’s (DOL) Office of Disability Employment Policy and the 75^th annual National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) observance in October.
